Team Secret And The R6 Siege Community Bid Farewell
David “ sTiZze” de Castro has decided to hang up his guns and retire from playing Rainbow Six Siege professionally, effective immediately. David will pursue other options in life and everyone here at Team Secret wishes him all the best in his future endeavours. Here’s what his now former teammates had to say about him:
“sTiZze first joined us way back in the IDK days and since then he has proven himself as an accomplished Siege professional, valued teammate and a good friend. He’ll be sorely missed and I wish him all the best with his future!”
– meepeY
“As the rookie of the team I have learnt a great deal from sTiZze. I was looking forward to meeting him someday at a lan event, but unfortunately that won’t happen, I wish him the best of luck with school and life!”
– Fonkers
“sTiZze has been one of my long time friends in Siege and inspiration to me since we spoke way back in Y1S2 of Siege, when it was only starting to rise, and having been able to play beside him for the past year and a half has been the best experience I could’ve gotten and it’s something I’ll cherish for a long time. A great teammate but also a great friend”
– LeonGids
“When I joined IDK last year I immediately created chemistry with sTiZze. He was and will remain a brother. I admit, I’m a little disappointed that he must stop the game and leave the main roster, but his future is more important and I respect that. One of the best support players in France, Europe and even the world and I’m proud to have played with him.”
– Elemzje
And a quote from sTiZze himself:
“It has been an incredible year and half competing alongside meepeY, LeonGids, Elemzje, Fonkers, and Lacky but infortunately I wont be able to compète anymore. I’m extremely thankful and proud of what we have been able to achieve with IDK and alongside Team Secret even we haven’t been performing well recently. I look forward to seeing the boys get back where they belong and I wish them all the best.”

A New Operative Joins The Team For The Las Vegas Minor
Team Secret is also proud to announce the arrival of Daniel “Ferral” Rotheram who will be a trial addition to the main team, starting with the upcoming Allied Esports Minor in Las Vegas. He will rejoin some of his former IDK teammates, with the hopes of filling sTiZze’s shoes. The team will head to Las Vegas for the minor and showcase their new addition with 75.000$ up for grabs against the likes of PENTA, Team Liquid, Rogue and Team Vitality. The event begins on June 7th with a 16 team Swiss group stage, with the top 8 teams advancing to the single elimination playoffs on the 8th and 9th of June. The winner will also get a spot in the second Rainbow Six Siege Major for this year – the Six Major Raleigh 2019.
